These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of this website and to all classes, memberships and services provided by The Pilates Collective by Courtney Maunder (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By booking a class, purchasing a membership or class pack, or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
1. About Us
The Pilates Collective by Courtney Maunder provides in-person Reformer Pilates classes in the United Kingdom.

2. Use of the Website
This website is provided for information and class access purposes only. While we aim to keep information accurate and up to date, we do not guarantee that all content will always be complete or current.
We reserve the right to update or withdraw website content at any time.
3. Bookings via Mindbody
All class bookings, payments, memberships, and class packs are managed through the Mindbody booking platform.
When booking a class or creating an account, you will be required to agree to Mindbody’s own Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy, which govern your use of their platform.
These Terms & Conditions apply in addition to Mindbody’s terms and govern your participation in our classes and services.
4. Health & Participation Disclaimer
Reformer Pilates is a form of physical exercise.
By attending classes, you confirm that:

You are physically able to participate

You have disclosed any relevant medical conditions, injuries, or pregnancy prior to attending

You understand that participation is at your own risk
Our instruction is not medical advice and is not a substitute for professional medical guidance.
If you are unsure whether Reformer Pilates is suitable for you, you should consult a qualified healthcare professional before attending.
5. Class Bookings & Payments

All classes must be booked in advance via Mindbody

Payment is required at the time of booking

Prices are displayed on Mindbody and are subject to change
We reserve the right to amend class schedules or substitute instructors where necessary.
6. Cancellations, Late Cancellations & No-Shows
Cancellation and no-show policies are set out clearly on the Mindbody platform at the time of booking.
By booking a class, you agree to these policies, including any applicable charges or loss of class credits for late cancellations or failure to attend.
Refunds are not provided for missed classes except where required by law.
All memberships begin with a 16-week minimum commitment. This initial period allows time to build routine, confidence, and see meaningful results from your practice.
After the initial 16 weeks, memberships move onto a rolling monthly basis, with 30 days’ notice required for cancellation.
6.2 Pausing Your Membership:
We understand that life happens, and flexibility is sometimes needed. Memberships may be paused after the initial 16-week commitment. Pauses are limited to a maximum of 2 per year
Each pause must be:
A minimum of 2 week
A maximum of 8 weeks at a time
A minimum of 7 days’ notice is required to apply a pause, and must be provided in writing.
Pauses can not & will not be applied retrospectively
Pauses are not permitted during the initial 16-week commitment, except in exceptional circumstances (such as medical reasons or injury), which will be considered at our discretion.
This policy allows us to maintain a high-quality, small-group experience while supporting our members fairly and consistently.
7. Class Packs & Memberships

Class packs and memberships are non-transferable

Class packs do expire as stated at the time of purchase

Expiry dates cannot be extended except at our discretion in exceptional circumstances
Unused classes remaining after expiry are forfeited and are non-refundable.
8. Studio Etiquette & Conduct
For the safety and comfort of all clients:

Please arrive on time for classes

Follow instructor guidance at all times

Respect other clients and studio equipment
We reserve the right to refuse participation or remove a client from a class if behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate. No refund will be issued in such circumstances.
9. Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for:

Death or personal injury caused by negligence

Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

Any liability which cannot be excluded under UK law
Subject to the above, we are not liable for:

Loss or damage to personal property brought to the studio

Indirect or consequential losses
Clients participate in classes at their own risk and responsibility.
10. Accessibility
We are committed to making reasonable adjustments where possible in line with the Equality Act 2010.
As individual accessibility needs vary, clients are encouraged to contact us in advance at hello@courtneymaunder.co.uk so we can discuss how we may be able to support you.
11. Intellectual Property
All website content, branding, text, images, and materials are the intellectual property of Courtney Maunder Pilates and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without prior written permission.
12. Privacy & Data Protection
Personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use personal information, including data processed via Mindbody.
13. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The most current version will always be available on our website.
14. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
