The Pilates Collective is the vision of Courtney Maunder, a highly experienced personal trainer with a passion for making fitness more accessible, inclusive, and transformative.

Courtney’s journey into health and fitness is deeply personal. Having overcome severe depression and anxiety, she understands first-hand the profound impact movement can have on both physical and mental wellbeing. For her, exercise became a lifeline—providing strength, stability, and renewed confidence.

 

Recognising a gap in the local area for affordable, high-quality Pilates, Courtney set out to create a welcoming space where people of all abilities could experience its benefits.​

 

At the heart of The Pilates Collective is Reformer Pilates—a dynamic, full-body workout performed on a specialised machine designed to realign, reshape, and strengthen the body. Using a system of springs, pulleys, a moving carriage, and adjustable resistance, the reformer challenges stability, builds strength, and enhances mobility in a low-impact, highly effective way.
